He has been representing clients in patent litigation since 1992 and has an outstanding record of obtaining client goals through licensing agreements and litigation results. “We are thrilled to have him on our team,” said Darshan Mujumdar, LexInnova’s Chief Executive Officer. “Under Sandy’s leadership, LexInnova is aggressively expanding our U.S. presence by taking our core competencies around infringement and validity analysis to a whole new level in the patent litigation space.”
LexInnova’s new service focus centralizes the myriad of outside resources required to support the analysis, fact building and evaluation of the complex technical evidence unique to patent litigation. Drawing on a team of more than 30 full-time engineers, as well as a world-class team of lawyers, project managers, technologists and scientists, LexInnova helps attorneys on all sides of patent matters build their technical cases throughout all phases of litigation, including discovery strategy, technical review, source code review and managed review services.
Seth’s decision to join the company came out of his experience using as a LexInnova as a vendor during his tenure at Susman Godfrey. After seeing the inefficiencies in the patent litigation process and the benefits that came with having all of his technical experts under one roof, Seth saw an opportunity to fill a gap in the legal market in the area of patent litigation and help clients optimize their bang for their patent litigation buck.
“One of the most challenging aspects of a patent case is finding and managing qualified outside resources who can help lawyers understand and optimally present the technical evidence associated with a case,” Seth said. “I’m excited to integrate my patent litigation strategy experience with world-class skills of the LexInnova team to expand these sorely needed services in the U.S. legal market and beyond.”
